Open Outlook 2003 Program and then click on Tools at the top of your screen and then click on E-mail Accounts... from the pull down menu.

Now click on Add a new e-mail account and then on Next as shown below:

On the next screen, click on a Server Type of POP3 and then click the Next button.

You will now see a dialogue box similar to that shown below:

Then enter your Incoming mail server (POP3) as pop3.mydomain.com (replace mydomain.com with the name of your domain (e.g., abc.com)) and your Outgoing mail server (SMTP) as smtp.mydomain.com (replace mydomain.com with the name of your domain). Then enter your User Name (same as your e-mail address) and your Password. In the above example, we have shown how the server names would appear for www.mcleansystems.com.

Now click the More Settings button. You will see a new dialogue box similar to this:

First click on the Outgoing Server tab. You will see a page similar to this:

Click on My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and make sure that the box contains a tick. Also click on Use same settings as my incoming mail server.

Next click on the Advanced tab. You will now see a page similar to this:

Enter the number 587 as the Server Port Number for the Outgoing server (SMTP).

Finally, click on OK and then click on Next, and then click on Finish.

Now Outlook 2003 will be able to retrieve and send your emails using your new account.
